So 2025 began with a very new beginning at Golf Tech Systems.

Firstly a brand new showroom was built. After closing the showroom for renovations in December we spent the time creating a brand new layout and bringing in the design that we typically now use in many of our builds. We felt the time was right to upgrade the showroom so customers could see exactly the standard they were about to purchase. A change in orientation as well meant the room was much more in keeping with many builds sized at 4.8 metres wide and 8 metres long.

Secondly with the renovations we also created a new space for our outbuilding team to reside. When customers now book a demo not only can they go through the internals of the room with the simulator, AV equipment and aesthetics, but at the same time talk to the team that can create the bespoke outbuilding for you. We are now under one roof to make your dream Golf Simulator purchase so much more straight forward. One visit and everything can be signed off that easily.

And lastly the big one, Trackman only. This was a huge decision for us as a company. After 14 years of being independent we decided to commit to one Tracking device. Now whilst we still will complete installations with customer provided devices the decision to have just Trackman in the showroom was a bold move. However there were a number of reasons for this commitment to who we believe are the leading brand in the industry. Firstly with us being known as the high end company for installations in the UK many of our builds already did include the Trackman io launch monitor. So on this element the decision was easy.

However it was the elements that you don’t see or know which was becoming critical. Firstly technical support. Many customers focus on the software, tracking hardware and price point when choosing a device and rightly so. But what many fail to really know is how good the manufacturer is after the purchase. How good are the updates? Do they keep coming on once I’ve purchased or is that it. How good is the technical support? If I have a problem how good are the company at resolving an issue in a timely and logical way.

Now these two factors are another huge reason where trackman stands out. From our side we’ve had some pretty shocking challenges with certain manufacturers when issues arose. We wont go into names but to say some responses fell far short of our expectation’s, is probably an understatement. Whilst Golf Tech would always maintain its standards and keep our customers expectations at the highest standard, sadly some manufacturers were failing way short of this and there’s only so much you can do as an independent company to cover the cracks.

We’re pleased to announce that our decision is proving to be a good one. The latest Trackman installations have been super positive and working with the Trackman staff has been a breath of fresh air. There are so many layers to Trackman which we love to show off in a demo. Whether its family entertainment with crazy golf in a residential environment, or door entry/booking system with full backend analytics for a commercial environment, Trackman I’m pleased to announce is delivering on all levels.
