This premium Trackman IO upgrade transformed an existing golf simulator space into a luxury multi-functional golf studio designed for performance, entertainment, and immersive practice. The client already had an older enclosure setup in place, but wanted a complete high-end renovation that would maximise the potential of the outbuilding while delivering a sleek and modern finish with industry-leading technology.
After removing the original enclosure, we were left with an impressive space measuring 3 metres in height and more than 4.5 metres wide, creating the perfect environment for the installation of the Golf Tech Ultra Impact screen and premium trim pads. To elevate the overall appearance of the room, we installed bespoke faux leather wall panels with integrated LED strip lighting to frame the simulator area beautifully. Additional LED spotlights were fitted at the rear of the room, all synchronised with the lighting system to provide complete colour and brightness control, creating the ideal atmosphere for both practice sessions and entertainment.
The flooring was upgraded using Golf Tech premium putting and hitting turf to deliver a true-to-life playing experience and a professional finish throughout the simulator room. The Trackman IO system was centrally mounted to support both left and right-handed golfers, ensuring the simulator could be enjoyed comfortably by the entire family.
To complement the premium specification of the build, we installed the BenQ BR 4K projector featuring the latest Golf Mode technology. This advanced 4K projector produces exceptional image clarity, vibrant colours, and enhanced contrast, delivering an incredibly realistic golf simulation experience that truly stands out on the impact screen.
The room layout presented a unique challenge due to a door located on the right-hand wall, restricting the standard positioning of display screens. However, the available wall space above allowed us to install a 65-inch display for simulator data alongside a 43-inch touchscreen monitor positioned above the fan-cooled PC cabinet for easy system navigation and control.
As the client wanted the golf simulator room to serve as a multi-purpose entertainment space, premium audio performance was a key requirement. A Marantz 5.1 AV receiver was integrated into the PC cabinet, powering a full surround sound setup consisting of seven speakers and a dedicated subwoofer. This installation delivers an immersive audio experience whether the room is being used for golf simulation, sports viewing, gaming, or film entertainment.
With the entire family passionate about improving their golf performance, we also incorporated two IDS cameras and two new floodlights to create a complete golf swing analysis studio. This setup provides detailed feedback and professional-level swing analysis, helping players refine their technique and enhance their game from the comfort of home.
