This TrackMan indoor golf simulator installation in Bedfordshire was a standout project, transforming a standard single garage into a fully immersive home golf simulator room. From concept to completion, the client was a pleasure to work with, and the result is a high-performance space designed for both practice and play.
The garage measured just over 5 metres in length and 3 metres in width, pushing the limits for a TrackMan IO simulator installation. By collaborating closely with the builders, we developed a layout that maximised every inch of space without compromising on performance, safety, or visual impact.
To suit the available dimensions, we installed a custom ultra-impact screen in a 4:3 aspect ratio, delivering a crisp and immersive display. The screen was framed with a sleek black trim kit, seamlessly integrated with upholstered faux leather wall panels for a premium finish.
For a personal touch, the client opted for custom-stitched panel designs, adding a unique and bespoke feel to the golf simulator room. A colour-changing LED strip was installed around the protective wall panels, allowing the lighting to be adjusted to create the perfect atmosphere for any session.
Due to the room size, an off-centre hitting position was the only solution. The TrackMan IO launch monitor was ceiling-mounted and housed within a Golf Tech Systems protective case for added durability and peace of mind.
A BenQ BR 4K projector delivers a stunning, high-definition image, bringing virtual golf courses to life and enhancing the overall indoor golf simulator experience.
The flooring was completed with Huxley black putting turf at the front and rear, paired with a green hitting surface across the width of the room—creating a realistic feel underfoot for both putting and full swings.
Two 27” Alogic touchscreens were wall-mounted, offering intuitive control and a modern, polished aesthetic. These were positioned above a compact, ventilated PC cabinet, custom-designed to house all hardware neatly while maintaining optimal airflow.
For convenience, an external power button allows the system to be switched on without opening the cabinet—streamlining the user experience.
Sound is delivered via a Samsung soundbar mounted behind the screen and despite the room size we were able to install two IDS camera, one face on and the other at the rear for down the line view.
The finished result is a compact yet powerful TrackMan indoor golf studio, perfectly tailored to the client’s space and needs. The customer was thrilled with the outcome and now enjoys regular practice sessions, as well as competing in the Golf Tech Systems TrackMan tournaments from home.
